Warren Buffet and Bill Gates both play bridge. They learned that bridge is more than just a card game. Gates and Buffet found that bridge skills are very similar to business skills. Bridge teaches logic, reasoning, quick thinking, patience, concentration, competitive strategies and partnership skills.

Warren plays bridge online every day. You'll also find them at bridge tournaments around the country. Both love the game. Both of these talented business skills admit that Bridge helps them on the job. Great bridge players are good thinkers and great competitors.

Rob VeVerka, is an Executive Leadership Coach who is also a Bridge Life Master, Teacher and Director. As an executive coach, Rob works with leaders nationwide to help them to become more effective in their jobs.  He has spent most of his career teaching and working with business leaders.

Previously he was director of Executive Education at the University of Cincinnati where he developed leaders in their executive programs. He is also an American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) certified teacher, director, former Cincinnati Bridge Association board member, and bridge Life Master. 

Bridge by Immersion - A One Week Intensive Coaching Session

Think of it as your executive retreat. Spend a week in Naples,Florida with Rob. You will learn bridge and work with a top executive coach to improve your leadership effectiveness, and most of all have fun.

Rob spends his winters in Naples, and will work with you at the Naples Bridge Center or other bridge clubs in the area, for an intensive full-week bridge program. You'll learn bridge and get an experienced professional to play with you daily.  By the end of the week, you'll be on your way to enjoy a game that you can play the rest of your life. And who knows...maybe a game with Bill Gates or Warren?

We can also add several executive coaching sessions. You will be able to justify your trip and expenses. We can customize a coaching and learning program exclusively for you. Learn more about Top Level Coaching.

Here's the Program . . .

• A month before the session, you learn or brush up your bridge basics with an online program. It's fast and fun and will give you a good foundation for our time together.

• We will play bridge every day at the Naples Bridge Center. Each duplicate game is about 3.5 hours.

• You'll get feedback and coaching on your bidding, play of hand, and defense after each session. 

• After each session, I will give you a short assignment to help you analyze your game and get ready for the next day. It won't take long, and you'll still have some time to enjoy the beautiful sunshine and amenities of the area. 

We will likely use Audrey Grant's Course.  The American Contract Bridge League has commissioned one the the world’s most successful bridge teachers, Audrey Grant to develop this course. Audrey has taken what many people consider to be a complex game and made it easy and fun to learn.

If you are interested in an executive coaching component, you will complete a 360 assessment that will pinpoint your leadership strengths and developmental needs. At our first meeting, we will review the results of the assessment and create a developmental plan.

Naples has an executive airport close by if you're interested in flying directly into Naples. Also, Ft. Myers (RSW) is about a half hour from Naples. There's plenty of great locations to stay, and I would be happy to help you find a good location.

Customized for your needs  We'll start by discussing your objectives, and then we will create a customized bridge program just for you. If you would  to add some executive leadership coaching sessions, we can also create program based on your needs. I'm your host, coach and teacher for the week.   Limited Enrollment I'm now scheduling my trips to Naples for the fall and winter.The price will be reasonable since I'm doing what I love to do, having fun, coaching, and enjoying Naples! It doesn't take much for me to schedule a trip there!
